Muhammad Nazir, age 24 years and a resident of Lakki Marwat, was diagnosed as a case of severe Aplastic Anaemia. Without the means to afford a transplant, hope seemed distant. Through the collaborative efforts of PSH members and government health subsidies advocated by the society, he successfully underwent an allogeneic bone marrow transplant and is now leading a healthy, active life.
